CDY sponsors young local Rugby player

We are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring an upcoming Rugby star named Henry Dibbin who plays for Keighley Albion ARLFC Under-13s.

Henry is the loose forward in a team competing at the highest level in the Yorkshire league. Known for his tenacity, skill, and leadership on the field, Henry played a crucial role in his team’s success throughout the 2024 season. Keighley Albion finished second in the league, losing only two games all season, showcasing their consistency and resilience. However, it was in knockout competitions where Henry and his team truly excelled, lifting both the prestigious Yorkshire Challenge Cup and the 2024 Leeds Rhinos Challenge – a national tournament held in Skegness.

As a loose forward, Henry combines physical strength with tactical intelligence, consistently delivering dominant performances in both attack and defence. His work rate, ball-handling ability, and vision make him a key playmaker and an influential leader within the team. Henry’s exceptional performances have not gone unnoticed, earning him the title of Man of Steel for his age group. This accolade reflects not only his skill but also his dedication, sportsmanship, and impact on the game.

Honours to date include Yorkshire Challenge Cup Winner, 2024 Leeds Rhinos Challenge Winner, Current Man of Steel (U13 Age Group).
